Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy Specialty: Client Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 4 days, 10-hour shifts, rotating schedule Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience License: Occupational Therapist Certification required Certifications: OT Certification required Must-Have: - Candidates without acute care experience will not be considered for the role. Description: Facility requires an Occupational Therapist for a Client unit. The position involves 10-hour shifts, including a heavy rotation on weekends. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience. The environment involves working within a unit that has 175 beds and 60 therapy providers. The unit includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapy assistants, and certified occupational therapy assistants. Daily patient ratios range from 8 to 10 patients. The facility uses EMR software for documentation. There are no on-call requirements for this position. Candidates should have an independent working style. Weekend commitment is required, with expectations of working 2 to 3 weekends per month. Dress code includes light green scrubs. Additional unit guidelines and policies will be provided upon hiring.
